i wish they would make heritae units. next year is new jersey transits 30 year anniversary from when they were officaly formed so hopely they'll make some heritaes. it would be cool if enventually all railsroads have there own fleet of heritaes. like csx, cp rail, canadin national, bnsf, kansas city southern, flordia east coast, ect

@fatzGeronimo It's been confirmed that Norfolk Southern will release it's own fleet of Heritage Units soon. It will be a fleet of 18 locomotives!

Nice job here, but only one problem. The most likely colors for a Heritage unit for CB&Q would be the chinese red and EMD grey colors. Those were MAIN colors of the Burlington and were the primary "road" colors. The black with yellow/red/grey strips shown here were the switcher colors found on the switch engines.

SF: GP60M-Warbonnet, GP60B-Billboard, SD45-2B-Bluebonnet, SD45-2-Kodiachrome (BNSF) lettering, with an optional SD75M in reverse zebra stripes

BN: SD40-2-Cascade Green & Tiger Stripes, SD70MAC-Excutive Colors

CB&Q: ES44C4

GN: ES44AC-Big Sky Blue, SD70ACe-Omaha Orange, with an optional SDP40 in BSB

NP: ES44AC

SP&S: SD70ACe

SL-SF: SD38-2 and/or SD70ACe

Numbering: The unit's most recent non-BNSF # if owned by RR represented at one point, year founded if bought new by BNSF.

@railfan101 Hell ya you should send them a letter with you awesome heritage designs and try to convince them to do it.

@thehellmantrain Oh that's part of a fleet of locos in the "Heritage Series" schemes. It's supposedly a "heritage" of the Great Northern's Orange and Dark Green paint scheme used on their passenger locos. As far as I'm concerned, it's not heritage enough for me personally. They need to think abot making a small fleet of locos painted in each paint scheme of the fallen flags that have made up both the BN and the Santa Fe. If UP can do it, why not BNSF?
