I wasn't so much referring to the chaplain alone, but rather to a 4-star general publicly promoting a book by a military chaplain in which non-believers are linked to failure of their unit and Olbermann calls him out on it.
My comment was more about Keith's track-record of consistently criticizing those who attack atheists (and the protections guaranteed by all in a secular nation).
However, I had no idea about the proselytizing problem you mentioned, but thank you for enlightening me.

Olbermann did make arguably treacherous statements, but not in this video. I am not aware of outright lies. What are you talking about?

Wait, are people 'down-thumbing' my comments because they hate atheists or the people who are willing to stick up for us?
*sigh* No one's saying Patraeus isn't a 'hero', and besides that word is thrown around so damn much it's almost lost it's meaning. Remember: atheists serve in the military just the same. No general should disrespect the non-believing men and women serving under him by stating they should all have a book to boost their 'faith'.

Blocked and removed. I've probably got some nuts following my videos because of what I put up with Maher and Coulter. I really don't have any use for arguing with people who want to argue about either. Minds are not going to be changed. Unfortunately I probably threw a can of red meat to some rabid people who are getting worked up over issues that the GOP loves to use to play them for suckers to vote against their own economic interests and without fail it always works.
