  • Updating: This is apparently a Woolly Bear Caterpillar Moth, sp. Acraea. I did not mention that there were two sizes of Chrysalises attached to the hanging jacket. So while still a theory, that adds support to the idea that males are smaller (~ 1/2 size of females). All the large chrysalises on the jacket hatched by Fri., 7/16. The 2 moths at home have not yet emerged.
