King Richard's Faire

Here are some clips from King Richard's Faire 2009 in Carver MA. I went with my friend Tina and her son Iain. We had a great time! King Richard's runs from September through October and is always fun so if you've never been, you should try and get there sometime. Here you'll find sword fights, drunken pirates, knights, and some other stuff. Stay tuned for my next installment: The Joust to the Death ;)

Fairest lady I have been to medieval exhibitions in Germany. I learned how to throw an axe and fire a cross-bow but I seemed to spend most of my time standing around the huge wooden hot tubs where the naked women were, those Germans have no shame, thankfully. You go to some really interesting places and at that period America was unknown to Europeans of the time (debatable I know).

@planetrockford I would love to go to a medieval exibition in Germany! One: because I am German, and two: because I studied Kunst de Fechtens and can swing a longsword!

2011 will be the 30th year of the Faire. I wonder what the plot will be. (2009 was vampires, I think. 2010 was Wonderland)

@HimitsuRisu Yeah, It was great. I had nostalga hitting me at about the 3 second mark. I haven't been there since I was about 9 (I'm almost 16).
