a buddy of mine has a 06 cummins, with a smarty chip. if he turns the settings on the chip on lvl 9 the highest it goes, he gets an extra 150 hp. thats just single stacked, w.o any bolt ons or anything. So getting some good power out of a diesel isnt very hard

@headbusta25 in a sense you are correct. but your comparing a plug and play tuner that gives 150ish hp to a truck that is 690hp over stock. so yes it is easy to get a diesel to around 400hp but after that you better know a little about what your doing.

it has a common rail head custom turbo huge injectors hot rod pump and all the normal stuff. if u want 600hp its going to take a hotrod vp44 or a s.o vp44, 200+injectors cam twin turbos head work adrenaline box or edge drag comp. that should get you close. im at 450 with 125hp injectors 58mm turbo edge comp

ive never seen him dyno on fuel only but its around 650 hp when its used for daily driving.

Comp box, 150s, HTT 62/13, SB dual disk, and supporting mods of course.... I'm happy with that.

@headbusta25 Getting the extra 150-200 isn't hard (especially with today's trucks that you don't even have to get your hands dirty with), but past that is a little harder. Injectors, turbo(s), head work, etc...

powermad2001 with 125 sticks edge comp and a 58mm turbo you are at 450 maybe at the crank but not thw wheels. i gotta 02 with stock vp 64mm t-bo 240 sticks and a quadzilla hittin 552 at the wheels. you dont need twins and head work to get close to 600
