Hi! sorry for my late reply!! i have had to go away with this college camp thing ... :P

To urn the iPod shuffle on there should be a button on top that you can flick and it will turn on, then all you have to do is press play! :)

How are you connecting it to your computer? maybe you can try anther USB port ? :)
