Hi I really enjoyed your vid. I have a question. I'm a single parent my income is just enough to keep me and my children a float. Yes God does provide the most part for us I can not deny that. But what is a person suppose to do when the light bill is due on Monday and the church says you must pay your thithes on Sunday? Is it wrong just to give what I am able to give and pay my light bill or should I pay my thithes and me and my children live in the dark with no water for 2 weeks? I have no problem giving but sometimes it does get tight. I just want to know what is God pleased with. The church sometimes can make you feel guilty or say you are cursed for not paying your thithes. I would love a video response if possible. Thanks for your time

I agree with you 100%. I belong to a large church and my pastor lives in excess million dollar home and Bentley. I see that and I wonder where the money for those things come from.

The church should actually be helping the young woman who asked the question. My pastor does not live in excess but our church has tens of thousands set aside for a new church building. There is some Sundays we had 30 people in church total. Why do we need a new building. We live in a poverty stricken community and we do nothing. My opinion falls on death ears. I can't leave because my husband wants to stay. I can only pray.

Some of those that tithe, pass the poor hungry man on the street and give him nothing. Some pastors want no part of the torah law except the part about tithing. If you do not live in Israel, there is no temple, there is no Levitical priests, there is no tithe. Yeshua said to feed and clothe the poor. The pastors who are buying the jets and wearing the diamonds should open their church doors, there should be no government welfare programs, the church should take care of the needy.

Thank you for this video! I have been questioning about tithing for sometime now. I don't have a job so I don't make any money but I see giving my time and heart to the Lord is what he wants from me and to serve Him. I believe that Jesus wanted us to be like Him and to help those who are needy and to help heal the sick.

churches do make you feel quilty, and i have come to the conclution , that they know and don't carehow the money comes, through quilt or not , just as long as they get it , I love my pastor and I feel bad when he says that someone thought less of him throuogh how much they gave him .
