Presenter: Ernesto Moncada

Biography: Mexico City, 1973. Graphic Designer, published novelist, spoken word performer, improviser, actor, theater director and stand-up comedian. Host and producer of local shows like Firestage, Grand Ave Live and Provocatease at the Alwun House.

Description: The Marseille Tarot according to Chilean artist Alejandro Jodorowsky is an experience in psychological self-awareness through symbolism, numerology and color theory, and not "magic". I've shared it for free with the local community for almost ten years.

  • Jodorowsky has a sui-generis approach to the tarot that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt (or two), but his own charisma and genius make up for it. Take Jodorowsky’s magnetism out of the equation and what we have is what we see in that video: a rather disjointed talk in which not one single original idea is presented nor any borrowed idea is developed in full, and many misleading notions are taken as facts. I hope this guy didn’t get paid for this.

  • is this in spanish too? where? Ernesto's accent is difficult to undesrtand, Alejandro usually talks in spanish, thank you
