  • @HunterSherkoh

This is because Omar Farouk is Half EGYPTIAN as he mentioned and that's why his Music had been affected by EGYPT and its heritage.

  • @Sacred90Lotus in Greece we call it "pipiza" (πιπιζα)

  • what is the name of the instrument playing in this song?

  • This music is simply divine !

  • I am from Egypt, and this song is played in nearly every wedding. It's based on Saidi (Upper Egypt) folkloric music! Never knew it was composed by a Turkish artist!

  • I love Egypt

  • Omar Faruk Tekbilek is Turkish but the song (according to the class I took) is a Saidi, so it's originally Egyptian. “Shaskin” is the Turkish name of the Arabic song “Ya Ein Moulyatein.” The version in this video sounds like Omar faruk Tekbilek's original version that I have on his CD "Mystical Garden", I don't believe this is a medley or remixed version. You may be able to find this composition by other artists by googling both the Turkish and Arabic titles though. I hope this helps :)
