With the recent announcement that the Ski Train will no longer be operating out of Denver, Colorado to Winter Park, here is a short documentary of the Ski Train as part of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Special and a trip to Glenwood Springs. The Denver to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Frontier Days Special was pulled by Union Pacific 4-8-4 844 on July 19, 1997. On August 22, the Ski Train, with Rio Grande GP60s 3156 and 3155, went beyond its normal Winter Park stop west to Glenwood Springs.
