yea did you try pluging the scart lead in properly or maybe check to see if the power brick is connected properly at the xbox and at the actual brick ? because rrod does not flash :)

Maybe because you leave the Xbox standing up, alot of my friends have gotten the ring and they've always had it upright. I've had mine for a long time on it's side and never had a problem.
But how worse can it get huh?
