First part of Nolan Stolz's "Kaena Point" for piano quartet performed live for the first time. Inspired by the interaction of the wind and the water at Kaena Point (Oahu, Hawaii), this piece was composed at the nearby village of Makaha. This piece is quite complex, and this premiere was conducted by the composer (wearing a t-shirt that reads "MAKAHA"). The conclusion (part 2) is also on YouTube.
