  • hello! this piece is fantastic. what is it called, or how is it cataloged? (i'd like the music to play with another viol player... an octave down, perhaps.) thank you so much for posting it with these wonderful paintings.

  • @moofytolkin Thank you so much for your comment and encouragement! What I've been able to find out so far: it is the Fifth Fantasia, Cambridge collection, originally for Two Treble Viols, adapted for two recorders by Martin Grayson. The score can be seen online on a site maintained by Christian Mondrup, Annette Mondrup, "compostions and arrangements for recorders".
