  • @Adoniram29 The awful comment precedes the Gedda reference and stands. It seems your idea of "dramatic" includes license to slide and grunt in an attempt to disguise vocal inadequacy. Gedda sings this work and so challenges your mythical restrictions.

  • @Intercostaldrama except Gedda wasn't a dramatic tenor....not even close so the comparison is moot.

  • Awful, none of them can resist approaching the note from underneath, Kaufmann worst, now go and listen to Gedda for artistry and quality.

  • they sing so differently, it is difficult to compare, and best to appreciate. Kaufmann is our best tenor, expressive and refined. Opera is theater, not only "morceaux de bravoure"

  • Domingo at his absolute best... (He should have sung like this all the time)

    Rosvaenge superb...

    Heppner....eehhhhnnnn...(Feh)

    Kaufmann... come on!(Ludicrous...dramatic?)
