Thanksgiving Sunday

The Camera Batteries were dying so I only filmed about 10 trains. No Acela sets on video. I have the three daylight extras though! The MARC HHP before it Died at Sunnyside, and two NJT trains. Caught the Silver Star with an Extra Sleeper that was Reversed. One thing that was noted during the day was traffic was down. It was later noted that in my video library trains have gone down by about 10 for the past three years (2009, 2010, and 2011). It seems that Amtrak is replacing trains for longer trains. We counted 10 and 11 car trains. Also noteable were the double headers in the past few years. This year there weren't as many but they were still noticeable. It seems that Amtrak is running more Acela's then anything.

@SuperStarRendon Thanks! If you ever go there let me know. I'd be more then willing to meet up! But the sunlight is perfect here and the trains go about 50-55 MPH for that curve. it's the perfect railfanning location.
