Giuliani-Giugliemi-Preludio No1-played by Juergen Schenk

What the heck did Emilia Giuliani-Giugliemi imagine when she wrote this Preludio? Perhaps her fingers were made of steel?
Please don't write any comments, I do not have the time to answer, I will have to practice this piece for the next -- approximately- 23 years, until I can play it neatly...perhaps

I got the sheets and understand what you mean. That muscle btw the thumb and pointer on the left hand (I think it is the pollicis) begins to throb.  It's also hard to make that transition from C to open E in the 10th without losing the continuity of the piece.

I play it on a period guitar, a Stauffer/Legnani from 1829. It's quite different then!
