While it is true that people voted for term limits, they did that before the greatest economic crisis in US history since the Great Depression. Of course, if people had known that term limits would mean giving up the greatest mayor of all time in the middle of a crisis, they never would have voted for term limits. In a state of economic emergency, continuity is important.

Mayor Mike Bloomberg is the greatest mayor New York City has ever had. He has given more money to charity than any other Mayor in the history of the planet. Bloomberg started 311 for nonemergencies. He built cheap car parks in outlying areas so that I could zip into Manhattan with public transportation. He has supported incubators to fuel innovation and create jobs.
