The Valentine Plunge for ALS is an exciting fundraising event where brave teams & individuals agree to jump into the frigid Atlantic to raise awareness and funding for People with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Prizes are awarded for best costume, most money raised and other fun categories.
This year, mounds of snow and sand had to be moved. Temperatures of 33 degrees in the water did not stop the crowds from supporting this important event.
Funds raised go towards PALS (People with ALS) whom are battling this terrible disease in Monmouth & Ocean County, New Jersey.
