This "shit" is one of the best Fleetwood Mac covers ever made. The group itself agreed on that so just stop being rude.

I'm so glad I grew up in the 90s. There was some great talent back then. How can people like Nicki Minaj be so popular today is a total mystery to me. It seems to me that people today just take whatever they are being fed. If someone tells you it's cool, you go for it. It wasn't like that 15 years ago, there was variety in music genres and artists, that record labels and televisions actually had the balls to support. Today, that indeed is just dreams. By the way I always liked Caroline the most.

They probably added the disco beats so that it would be more popular and played in clubs and stuff, that was the 90s! Or just trying to put their own twist on a classic. Sounds a lot better than some of the s*** released now mind!

Much like how a lot of 80s era music was ruined by synths and manufactured beats.

While I like this version I just don't think it has the raw emotion Stevie Nicks gives it.

(didn't have enough space) -> But still, I appreciate the fact that you didn't attack another user (me, in this case) with nazi-comments like everybody is doing lately on youtube. :)

Well, I accept your point of view, but it's entirely your opinion. The disco beats are part of the '90s and that's why they used it. There's nothing wrong about it, except some may like it or not. I would not complain about a cover done in the '80s where there's plenty of synthesizers. I hate the sound of it but it was the '80s and that's how music was at the time. Personally, I don't like the Cranberries version, while I find this cover of Dreams very well done.
