@drrrzrbq They were actually thinking about it, man. But Paul Simonon didn't wanna play, nor did they wanna replace him. Sadly, Joe died shortly after, IF I have my timeline straight..

@yetaca The gear was stolen, its in countless books on The Clash. The gear not taken was Pauls precision bass.

@PBANDSNOW their gear wasn't stolen, it was held up at customs longer than expected, they got all their stuff back the next day lol

@PBANDSNOW You're only 15? :D Damn man, I'm 14. You seem older. I'm really into the Clash. Paul Simonon is my idol. Obviously, I play bass. The Clash are awesome man, sad Joe had to go before we could see him and remember it. If he didn't die, you think they'd have a reunion?

I discovered The Clash 2 years ago when I was 13, and since then, i’ve had a long term infatuation for everything ‘Clash. I’ve read every book, seen every concert, watched all the movies, and listened to all of the interviews.
I pride myself on knowing every Clash, along with every thing Nirvana and Zeppelin.

@afzoomie67 All their gear was stolen, and never found. Most importantly: Joes White Esquire that he had bought to replace his Tele (he didn’t want anything bad to happened to it), Micks black Les Paul Custom (this is when he switched to the white one he had since mid-1979).
