Duo on lake huron

1966 duo 16 foot fibgerglas boat with a johnson 4 cylender 2 stroke 60 HP outboard engine. Boat has new stringers, floor and transom. 2 way marine radio and new seats. Includes trailer.
Here we are Sunday afternoon, october 12 2008 out on lake huron off port Sarnia. We launched at Sarnia bay and went up the St. Clair river a few Km's into lake Huron where the great weather invited hundreds of boats out for one last ride of the season. The weather was perfect this thanksgiving weekend and the boat performed flawlessly. Didnt catch any fish but it was still great to be out on the lake.

Ya thats a 1966 60 HP 4 cyl. Runs like new unreal how it starts right up everytime. Went to launch it the other day and the battery was dead so I used the pull-start. started within 4-5 pulls! Had the lower unit replaced a couple years ago, and the carbs were all gummed up from sitting for years, had a mechanic clean it all out and inspect the engine, he said all four cylenders were at 125 PSI! Im selling this boat to get my searay up and running. $1500 for this gal with the trailer!

THanks for the post! THats cool to see an old Johnson 60 (1965 or 1964 vintage) still around. My dad had a 1966 Johnson 60, brought back memories of summer as a kid.
