An American soldier's return from Afghanistan, taped in 2005 by his wife, has suddenly become a viral-video sensation -- thanks to the welcome-home yelps his elated dog, Gracie, gave upon seeing him again for the first time. The video only recently became a YouTube sensation after it was included in a Veterans Day video montage.

In the home video, then-Lieutenant Andrew Schmidt of the West Virginia Air National Guard, dressed in fatigues, is coming back from a five-month tour in Afghanistan. But he can't get past the sidewalk in front of his Springfield, Virginia house before Gracie, then a two-year-old golden retriever, bolts forth from the front door.

Earlier this week, Andrew Schmidt told The Today Show, "We're really close. You know, dogs get to be like your kids. The truth is, I missed all my family, and when I got off that plane I was home -- a little bit. And then when I drove down the street and looked out the window, I was home a little bit more. But I knew when that door opened and she came running out, I felt like I was finally at home."

Six-year-old Gracie, a golden retriever, is seen jumping into the lap of her beloved master Lieutenant Andrew Schmidt, rolling over and wriggling in joy after he returned safely to his home .. Read The Full Story on link

  • Any religious fathead who dares tell me animals (especially dogs) have no souls can bite me. Some dickweed who rapes and kills a young girl and then "repents and finds jesus" while doing time gets to go to heaven.... and these guys don't?? BULLSHIT!! This vid gets me EVERY TIME. Animals have souls and in some cases bigger souls than humans. Period.

  • @AntBanks2626 Yeah, because an individual soldier can influence world politics, shut up and enjoy the love the dog gave his owner.

    prick.

  • @CropDuster33 Christians are sinners, just that we found a hospital of grace. I personally believe that there no diff in "sin level" between Hitler/Stalin and me. Because ALL man have fall short.

The only diff is that i found a r/s with God through Jesus. It is that simple. And yes, we should cherish all creations. Even dogs, cats, horses, trees, biodiversity. And yes we should cherish the Earth and it is undergoing global warming right now.

  • @CropDuster33 What we are trying to say is that Christianity is NOT a ritualistic religion, nor a religion that demands obligations made by man. The World today had a view of Christianity as a religion of condemnation, hate and irrationality.

Christianity is a religion of love, pure simple faith in a personal r/s with God brought about by God's grace.

  • @CrazedNovaProduction God takls to you huh? Bwahahahhaha were you on salvia at the time?! ROFL ROFL ROFL, honestly... you are hearing voices that come from nowhere but your head. You have issues.

  • @KiraKirin amen!

  • @CropDuster33 I'm a true follower of Jesus Christ. They are all adding their own stuff to what Jesus said and not everything to what he said. They have created a man made faith instead their faith being on God the Father. They have to use priest to talk to God which doesn't work. But we as humans induvidually can talk to God only by accepting Jesus Christ. I talk to God sometimes and when the time is right, HE response back to me. Does God himself believe in religious work?

  • @CrazedNovaProduction Christianity is be definition a fucking religion look it up hahahahaha. Definition of CHRISTIANITY:

: the religion derived from Jesus Christ, based on the Bible as sacred scripture, and professed by Eastern, Roman Catholic, and Protestant bodies. Merriam webster dictionary. that video should be renamed to "why i hate soda, but love coke" so much stupidity in that video.

wheres your evidence that its not? i mean unless you want to argue with the dictionary. LOL!!!!
