Visit the blog of a man who uncovered 'hide the decline' as first and filled FOIA requests, Steve McIntyre. We wouldn't know about this without him, credit where credit is due: http://climateaudit.org/

  • Results from the study Muller recently conducted, to his exact specifications: "Global warming is real, according to a major study released today. Despite issues raised by climate change skeptics, the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature study finds reliable evidence of a rise in the average world land temperature of approximately 1° C since the mid-1950s."

  • With regard to the part criticising the smoothing of data, Muller is now coming under fire for his own group's smoothing of data prior to analysis. Oh the irony!

  • Amazing! Thanx for posting this video!

  • They did not "get their hands slapped" they were completely exonerated.

The hacker was never even pursued.

It was Mike's _Nature_ trick. Published in Nature magazine. Not secret.

  • Go to 2:25 for `Hide the decline``

  • What a TOTAL PIECE OF BULLSHIT this is. What kind of loser would post this garbage. The data from the 60's onward was corrupted and had to be fixed for multiple reasons. The biggest was how WRONG the readings were because the Satellites had changed orbit. This is well documented. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR POSTING THIS CRAP!

  • YOU ARE A STUNNING IDIOT!

  • The mistake they made was misrepresentation in a most literal sense. Showing the line as a continuation when in fact there was different data used to plot it after 1960, regardless of whether the temperature was right, was misleading viewers that the same source of data was used throughout the line. Unfortunately, this blows the mistake completely out of proportion when people find out. Yes it was bad, but not as bad as people think it is. And people misread the "condemning" email.

  • We all know this is the greatest scam in the history of mankind. The case is now closed.
