"Our biggest surprise was that the new results agreed so closely with the warming values published previously by other teams in the US and the UK... This confirms that these studies were done carefully and that potential biases identified by climate change sceptics did not seriously affect their conclusions." said Prof Muller.

So CRU, NASA, NOAA were correct all along.

Richard Muller is an ego maniac! He thought he was going to disprove Anthropogenic Climate Change & you know he tried! But when it is all said & done he is a very respected scientist maybe not on par with James Hansen or Michael Mann but without a doubt respected so he was going to publish the facts & he did. @frolly1000 ..Unless you understand the field and read the paper. Sunlight intensity reaching the earth's surface has declined dramatically in the last half century due to fine particle pollution - so it has long been known that this will make measurements such as tree rings nonsensical.

It was stated in the paper that the data had been replaced with modern temperature measurements.

So they said they replaced the data, and people reading the paper would of known why.
