Nice tut! Just for future reference though, the white of the eye is called the sclera, the colored bit is the iris, and the central black dot is the pupil. The retina is actually inside of the eye, and is kind of like a photographic plate. Sorta.

@lollolllolllll I think he was going for more of a beginners tutorial who may not be going for people like me who are still getting used to the program. For someone with the amount of skill you are talking about shouldn't need this tutorial to be frank.
P.S. @tutvid Thanks for all the help! Keep em coming :)

Part 2
Now the eye shape and the iris will be highlighted blue and all the anchor points will be visable. Now, with both shapes selected, select the 'direct selection tool) the white arrow and the select the top of the iris. This will now only select the part of the circle above the eye shape... now just press 'delete on your keyboard and you can delete it. If a few anchor points remain, just hit delete until they all go. Hope that helps. If not. message me.

For the people who couldn't get the 'Divide Part' - draw the shape of the eye and click on the artboard to deselect. Then select the ellipse tool (L) and drag out an ellispe (hold shift to constrain the proportions). Next you need to go to the layers palette and then click the arrow next to the eye shape you made - this will open up all the stages of the vectors you made. Click the circle on the right of both the shape and the iris. Go to the pathfinder and select bottom right one (divide) >>>
