I'm using a Bosch SDS Max rotary hammer with 1-1/2" chissel bit to remove ceramic tile from a concrete basement floor.

  • Well advised, upinflamezzz. A friend of mine suggested I get a small air chissel to use with my compressor, for smaller areas 50 sq. feet or less.

    Thanks for commenting! =)

  • I'm about to do this today! This tool is my first goal...the second is to apply it to the floor ;)

  • To all those who are using a chisel and hammer to remove tile, please do yourself a favor and buy or rent a hammer drill. I was doing it with a chisel and hammer than went out and bought one of these and it honestly took 20 minutes. These things really work. It's a beautiful thing.
