This is my first try using the spd-s sampler.
This is the setup:
pad 1 - gretsch kick
pad 2 - 18" crash
pad 3 - A closed hat B half open hat
pad 4 - horn hit
pad 5 - organ riff
pad 6 - leedy snare
pad 7 - mellow organ riff
pad 8 - sax solo riff 1
pad 9 - sax solo riff 2

I took the loop samples from Mulatu Astatke - Yegelle Tezeta. The loops are kind of rough, I didn't really trim them up perfectly, but you get the idea of what this thing can do.

  • @SYDUB the pads are touch sensitive.. Hit it light get a light note.. I ran one of these for a few months made the dopest beats ever...

  • Could you install both kick and hihat pedal.

    Also, is the pad are with variable sensitivity?
