Reminds me of when Sealab 2021 pulled a reference to The Wife of Martin Guerre out of nowhere.

@jippert85 She couldn't believe no one had read bartelby the scrivner?? lol

@shazzang18 Same here, at first I was shocked the show actually referenced a freaking Melville short story (and for a good 10 seconds at that), then I started laughing my fucking ass off. Just one of the many reasons why Archer is such a great show.

@victorrain When in doubt: UrbanDictionary is your friend...

@shazzang18 Earlier in the episode, when Lana is talking about the chocolate fountain and the filipina masseuses. Archer says, "Skeet?" Then Lana says "Probably?" What is Archer talking about?

How you say.... "Wop wop" : P

Shave ballz ftw
Bartelby The Scrivener is a short story by Melville where the guy keeps saying "I would prefer not to" to every request his boss makes. Basically he's a dick.

My English teacher in my class today was like, "Has anyone read Bartleby the Scrivener?" I was like, "I'd rather not." I realize that this isn't verbatim, but it looked like I knew what I was talking about. She couldn't believe that no one else had so I added, "It's not an easy read." Archer FTW!
