Be sure to check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/user/actionadventures In the video now playing: Linc takes his kids out for some fun the day before father's day. Most of the camera work was done by his eight-year-old son, Jet. The idea behind this presentation is to remind parents to take advantage of their local surroundings and stop making excuses. And, to keep in mind one of Linc's general rules, that is, the more action-and-adventure oriented the outing is, the more exciting, meaningful, and memorable it will be. The best scene is when Jet, standing on the dock, for a moment not behind the camera, glances up at his father. Note the twinkle in his eye.
Remember dads, you're being watched. Ask yourself, is it with admiration... or something else?

  • This 4 the dad u do no when u use a spinning reel u always use the bottom or r u that new to this

  • @TheTomkat11 That's a fine observation. The fact of the matter is that I'm not a good fisherman and not very knowledgeable in technique (mostly because I'm not passionate about the sport), but it's always fun with the kids on the rare moments that we do go fishing. Thanks for the tip : ) Linc

  • I won't hunt ...I coudn't kill a deer...use to go to the leases but never would hunt....,fished though...The only shooting I did was targets for the turkey shoots ..can fire a shot gun ..pistols and deer rifle ...but only for fun ..Father was a markman..

  • @jam2music I've never hunted, but like you, have fired a number of different firearms including a shot gun. Skeet, cans, paper targets, junk... Those are the targets I aim at. Of course, always always keeping all safety issues in mind.

    Good ol' Dads!

  • @actionadventures Yep ...I sure miss my parents !! They were really good people with a lot of values they passed on to me ...as well as learning a few my own ...have a great night ...Big hugs for a great friend ..

  • My favorite thing to do ...fishing

  • So cute seeing the kids fishing:having a good time. That water was rough:and it's easy to get sucked out.I don't see kayaks there:which would be a great way to canoe on the water:spraydeck included of course!

I think that's the wind I'm hearing there!!I wonder why the water was lower.

    Thanks for this vid Linc.

  • @jam2music Thank you very much! Yeah, the water was unusually rough, which is why I kept that session close to the docks. What's nice about it, is when you know the kids can handle THAT, smooth water is easy : )

As for fishing, I don't ever catch anything. On the rare occasions that I have, I feel sorry for the fish : (

That's why there will probably not be many fishing videos. Not knocking fishing, it's just not cut out for me--dittos with hunting.

It's great that you enjoy to fish!

  • My favorite thing to do ...fishing ...love it !! Great video and looks like a great place ...water was rough!!! ...Kids are precious !! :)
