Beginning Public Speaking students and other public speakers who have high speech anxiety often find that they vacillate between two extremes: 1) becoming so nervous that they "put it off" and don't pay attention to the small details and 2) becoming so overly critical that they see nothing good about this speech. This video plays out the metaphor of "weeds" in a garden as an analogy for speech anxiety.
