"Fear Not Of Man" is just under 10 years old but the lyrics apply to us so much more now then it did when Mos first produced it back in '99. We are waking up to an increasingly surveillance society around us...there is more control over us.....plans are being made by the people upstairs that are forcing you to think in a certain way and agree with their ideas and motives..... but the lyrics right here remind you that that although they plan, God also plans.

"And put thy trust in Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a disposer of affairs." (33:03)

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

"And incline not to the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Disregard their noxious talk, and put thy trust in Allah. Allah is sufficient as a disposer of affairs." (33:48)

Christianity has unfortunately been abused by people who supposedly did it "in the name of the Lord". This is what happened to during the "Holy" Crusades and this is also what happened after the Europeans "discovered" North America. They stripped away land from Native Americans, slaughtered whole tribes, and then decided to try to teach what the Bible says after they oppressed them.

I know this may offend some people, but I'm going to say it anyway (the truth hurts). A lot of people think that Jesus and Allah are the same God, but they are not. Allah was a false Babylonian moon god that the Babylonians called sin and the Arabs called Allah (that's why the symbol for Islam is a crescent moon). Also, by the way, Jesus was actually black (but a lot of you already know this, I assume). Besides that, Mos Def did a good job on this song and what he's talking about is very true.

I'm sorry. But as a free human, I must warn you: slavery is wrong on every level. And you should not say PBUH unless you know what it means. The Prophet Mohammed encouraged the emancipation of slaves, even if that means first 'purchasing' them.

Less than 5% came to the US and are now free and one is the president of (what was the best nation on Earth). Free, we ended what Arabs started, they captured, kiled used and sold slaves.
