Right on man I live very close to there.

wait so.. pardon my ignorance.. but are you looking for arrowheads that were made long ago and discarded? or are oyu looking for the raw rock used to make them yourself? i live in the area and hike the Dundas Valley all the time so I was curious

Dang dude that looks like a tough walk just to get one little piece of chert. I'd be scared to death I'd step on and break a Clovis or other valuable point while I was going through there.

I was looking for the raw rock but it is not unheard of to find Indian Artifacts in area's such as this ( Hamilton/Dundas ) . I hope to spend sometime in the Dundas Conservation area and Iroquis Heights as well later on.... The Bruce Trail I am told is partly based on Indian Trails along the Niagara escarpment... If you enjoy the Bruce Trail & Native Indian history check out Crawford Lake In Campbelville as they have an Indian village reconstructed and Bruce Trail goes right past it as well ....
