The government manages the economy. If they didn't there would be no difference at all to the effect Rudd or Howard policies have on the economy. What they do not do is run the financial world. That is the job of the private central banks eg.RBA. Even though Howard did have some bad policies for the people of this country,eg Iraq war and the acceleration of multicultural immigration, the timing of his departure was exactly what the global elite bankster wanted for this country.

I tend to agree. Rudd/Howard are equally puppets of the elite. If they truly had the greater good of the people at heart, they would make vastly different policy decisions. For example they wouldn't give multinational giant Toyota 6 billion of our dollars to develop hybrid cars, they would have given that 6 billion in support and tax breaks to our fledgling electric car industry.

He didn't do too badly considering he left us with a surplus of 25 billion or whatever it was exactly. Funny how Rudd's going to leave us with a predicted 25 billion deficit. How could 50 billion be squandered in 18 months? THAT is what you call poor economic management. Seriously, take a look at the treasurer Wayne Swan... do you honestly believe he knows what he's doing? Take a look at our history and the health of the country under both liberal and labor. Voting labor is irresponsible.
