It appears I am not the only one that sang this to her boy growing up. I would hold his little hand as I sang this to him. It was always part of the song to hold up his hand when I sang "tiny hand". The day came when we would laugh because it was MY hand that was smaller. I danced this song with my at his wedding a few years ago. He was afraid I'd cry all the way through it, but I made him proud... for once, I didn't. (as I sit now with tears rolling down my face) Thank you all for sharing
