My rendition of "Surfing With the Alien" by Joe Satriani. I played this and recorded it a long time ago and it's pretty old school. I didn't do the whole song, since I'm more of a rhythm player and don't excel so much playing lead. But the core of the song is there and it's a fun play along.

@itsumonihon Yeah it's all I had at the time haha. But it worked out well. Having a whammy would've obviously helped out some.

amazing job mate... btw assuming you're into satriani how do you think are teles suited to his prog rock style? do you really need the whammy bar or 22nd fret (i thnk the strat also has only 21 frets)? amazing job though \m/

@retro Yeah I'm a big fan of Satch and to be honest, I think his style can be accommodated without those things. Now don't get me wrong, a whammy bar and that extra fret do help, but the Tele is designed to be versatile, so I found to do the job pretty well. I have a PRS CE-22 now, and I think the ease of play is about the same. Thanks for the feedback!
