Lead trumpet humor: We asked legendary rock star John Paul Jones if we could take up the octave the trumpet part he wrote for the Foo Fighters "The Pretender". Only funny for trumpet players, mind you.

  • you lucky bastard!!!

  • I love it, the trumpet high note lobby strikes again.

    My favorite part:

John Paul: "I don't want you blasting away up there all day"

Trumpeter: "No, I know...I was just wondering..."

  • @Tecumseh1812 youre right! a man who can play base with his feet while play keyboards or a Triple Neck guitar dosen't need to be a good singer :D BUT: anywhere here on youtube there is a version of Thats the way on which he sings it, and it really sounds good =)

  • @Bidil6 with all the things that Jones has done and still does brilliantly , you point at that he does not sing well enough to suit you ? You should stop listening to rock music altogether

  • John Paul jones is such an awful singer! He just can't sing.
