is this animation or he actually hit them so hard that produce this.....beautiful vibration?

  • This version is really close to the version in Christopher Parkening's Guitar Method, or is that just how it was originally written?

  • The bottom E string has a spasm the whole time. How does that work?

  • These strings are realy crazy !

  • So technically it's a camera trick... Our eyes cannot perceive a vibration of this magnitute. It's the way the hands motion seems to be that gives it off as a type of camera trick... must be a high tech camera

  • Who composed this?

  • 1. What type of strings are those?

    2. You have very hairy arms.

    3. The the cinematography was epic.

    4. You sound really good

  • He's a little flat, isn't he? SALT flat, that is. Beautiful execution, visually striking

Strings normally vibrate with that much amplitude, or travel, across the fingerboard. You can't see this because our brains tend to blend motion perceived by our eyes to make it look smooth, and the result is that watching the guitar strings in person looks nothing like in the video. The video looks like this because the camera only takes so many frames while recording, and it just happens that the frames when played back are at the right frewuency to cause this effect.
