    I'm just guessing...if someone say does hear about an artist like this from a modern music (not saying current main stream music is all good or bad) then they are automatically disqualified from enjoying its content because they didn't go through the proper research for it?? That's kinda ridiculous because I always thought music was about the message and emotion behind it not where you 'heard it firs' from..

    Yall shouldve been up on Gil wayyy before Kanye sampled him. His sample was the best part(lyrically) of that whole album.

    The idea that kanye slanders this guys image somehow seems a stretch to me. Kanye got me to this video, I realize this guy wrote it and it might actually be the best thing ever composed, but kanye still helped to spread the true message behind this guys voice
