  • Does anyone know why MG didn't record on the 2 'later' Badfinger albums with Joey and Tom?

  • @happygleason

There's no short answer to that question. Mike was brought in during the "Airwaves" sessions but wasn't playing well and they ended up not using him. This likely created a little tension and probably contributed to him not being used on "Say No More" as well. Sometimes things just don't work out the way they should.

  • Woo Hoo! I love this. I saw this same lineup in 1987 except that Humble Pie's Jerry Shirley was playing drums instead of Mike. It was a fantastic show

  • great song by Joey! studio version needs to be released.

  • One of Joey's best songs. I absolutely love the opening riff..in the vein of "Hold On Loosely." Will we ever get to hear the original recorded demo of Call Me? One can only hope.

  • Yeah! A refreshing blast from the past. So good to hear again, and SEE! I always thought this was about Steve Craiter, but so few would really know. Great seeing Mike too. Thanks Barb!

  • I saw Joey in 1987. The same line up as this except Jerry Shirley was playing drums instead of Mike. I talked with Joe after show and he signed my copy of No Dice,as well as my ticket stub.He was very friendly and easy going. A couple of days later I found (and bought) a copy of After The Pearl. I didn't know about the album until that night because he played several songs - I recall that he did Too Late To Cry, Here Comes Heartache and possibly Dreams Of Thunder

  • Wow, the sunset grill...How cool!!
