Miss Isabella Patricola (ca. 1886 - May 23,1965)
was a skilled violinist, a good singer and a charming personality. Her lovely contralto was well trained and her diction was excellent. She obviously was a trained musician who likely spend some years either playing or singing less-popular music than she did when she turned to vaudeville in the mid-1910s.

The Virginians were a subset of Paul Whiteman Orchestra under the direction of Ross Gorman.
