Selena just got off of work. Now she is sitting in the clinic, waiting for her doctors appointment. She nervously keeps glancing at the clock then pulling down her shirt as if shes showing already
Nurse: Selena?
Selena:*stands & follows the nurse to the exam room*
Nurse:*smiles*Hi, Selena. Im Alexandra. Alex for short. Ill be helping u today
Selena:*smiles & nods*ok
Alex:*takes her vitals, draws some blood, & hands her a gown*change into this & the doctor & I will be right in
Selena:*nods nervously, changes into the gown & sits on the exam table. Her cell rings*Hello?
Nick: hey beautiful. How are u?
Selena:*half smiles*I could be better. How is the visit going?
Nick: Harley is having fun. Wats the matter?
Selena:*nervous*Nicky, I want to tell u something but not over the phone
Nick: as long as ur not breaking up-
Selena:*giggles*no, papi. Its nowhere near that
Nick:*chuckles*oh ok. Just checking
The doctor & Alex walk back in
Selena: papi, I gotta go. Ill call u later. I love u
Nick: ok. I love u too *hangs up*
Dr:*smiles*Hi, Selena. Im Dr. Patrick Randall
Selena:*smiles nervously*Hi, Dr Randall
Dr: So I read in ur chart. U think that youre pregnant?
Selena:*looks down at her hands, nods*yea
Dr:ok, lets check it out * washes his hands & puts on gloves* lay down for me please
Selena obeys. The Dr does a vaginal exam then cleans his hands. He opens Selena gown, putting gel on her stomach
Dr: ok Selena. From the blood test Alex took & the exam, u are in fact pregnant. Im checking to see how far along u are
Selena:*upset, doesnt show it*so we'll see the baby on the screen today?
Dr: yep. This will tell us how far along we are *takes a tool, rubbing it on her stomach. Points* Selena, there is ur baby and wat u are hearing is the heartbeat

Selena:*wipes her tears, looking at the screen* wow. im really pregnant
Dr:*still looking at the screen*yes, and according to this & the date of ur last period. U are 15 weeks, which is 3 ½ months *prints out a pic & hands it to her, cleans her stomach* Ok, we are done. U can change now. Ill write u a prescription for prenatal vitamins & make sure that u make another appointment. We want to keep that little one healthy. *cleans his hands, gives Selena a prescription* Alex will take care of u. congrats Selena. Alex make sure u take her vitals again before she leaves
Selena:*smiles weakly*thank u Dr Randall
Dr:*leaves*
Alex:*taking Selenas vitals*So Selena is this ur first baby?
Selena:*shakes her head*no, um, I have a little boy. He turns 2 in a few weeks
Alex:*smiles* oh thats wonderful. Wats his name?
Selena:*still a little upset, shakily puts a piece of hair behind her ears*um, I-its Matthew
Alex:*writing on Selenas chart*Oh wat a beautiful name. I bet hes gonna be happy, right? To be big brother
Selena:*shrugs a little*yea, I guess
Alex:*notices shes upset, tries to make her feel better*oh sweetheart its going to be ok. Is the father in the picture
Selena:*nods*y-yea
Alex:*rubs her back* then wats the matter?
Selena:*starts rambling, more talking to herself then to the nurse* I just- I thought I was ready for this but I- I dont want to do this. I cant do this
Alex:*sighs*sweetheart, yes u can. Im so sure that u are a strong young lady. I dont even know u that well but I can already tell u that u are stronger than most teenage girls I see come thru here. All they want is the easy way out. Coming in here trying to get an abortion or something. But not u. I havent heard u say anything about an abortion. U can do this. U already have a little boy and now this is only gonna add to ur blessings. So dont say u cant do something cuz it takes a very special person to take care of their babies, especially someone as young as u are. U hear me sweetie? Ur gonna be ok
Selena:*nods, smiles*Thank u Alex. I am gonna be ok
Alex:*smiles*thats it girly. If u need anything, u have the number. Call me
Selena:*nods* yes ma'am
Alex: ok, now get dressed & ill see u at ur next appointment *smiles & leaves*
Selena:*changes & leaves, while trying to wipe her tears so no one would notice she was crying*

1. so Selena has something to tell Nick? hmm, wonder wat it is?
2. so, its CONFIRMED shes pregnant, will she do now?
