Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust is a charitable organisation based in the rural area of Nyanza near Kisumu in Kenya. The core focus of our work is to empower the underprivileged with education and mentorship in order to improve their livelihoods and to become self-reliant. Our program covers the following areas: training and mentorship in food security, nutrition, healthcare, protection of children's rights, shelter & care, psychosocial support, education and economic empowerment. We are currently supporting some 2,500 orphaned children across 33 villages.
