  • hey, where can I download fl studio?

Do you have a link maby?

  • @goocheltrucks Simply type "fl studio" in your favourite search engine.

  • I can get FL Studio 10 to work!!! I just installed it on Windows 7 x64 Edition with a low latency sound card with ASIO! Yeah!

  • @mlopinto2k1 Do you want a medal?

  • which Version of FL? I have 4 and 8 and both won't work properly with AVLinux. Plugins load, but does produce sound output yes, i am aware of WineASIO an Jack) and the Bar Counter runs free, eg. stopping at 10:000:00, restarting, counter resumes at 21:000:00, stopping, counter resumes at 40:000:000 and so on.

  • @TheMCMXXL2 This is FL Studio 9, but it required the installation of a lot of dependencies.

  • @mlopinto2k1 Hey I checked out the guitar rig software and it's pretty sweet - windows is definitely surprising me. But do you know if there is a program like JACK (in linux) for windows so I can easily daisy chain inputs/outputs of different programs?

  • @PhysiPhile dubdubdub dot reaper dot fm <--- another awesome piece of multitrack software. It's 4MB's and load instantly. There's just so many damn options. It's endless.

  • @PhysiPhile Just so I'm clear, FL Studio does everything internal. Records external audio, has it's own audio file editor, midi recording (which kicks ass) and multicore support.

  • @PhysiPhile Through Wine on Linux? I have no idea. But through Win7, absolutely. Native Instruments Guitar Rig is seriously bad ass and designed just for this purpose. Low latency and every effect.

  • @mlopinto2k1 Oh I see. Yeah we have it for different purposes. See my buddies come over and we jam on our guitars so do you know if I can run a guitar through FL studio and get all the effects with no latency issues with using non-ALSA?

  • @PhysiPhile I admire your desire to use this software. But, when I use FL Studio, everything I need is RIGHT THERE. No patching, no linking, no external recording... nothing. It's all right there.

  • @mlopinto2k1 have you used AV linux? that's all that I've been using. The programs are guitarix, ramarack(sp?), sooperlooper, and ofcourse JACK. I also throw hydrogen drum machine in too sometimes. I use that in combo with fruity loops for the ipad - which I bought a guitar to midi iphone controller at walmart. I can video it but if you know those programs then you know what I'm talking about. Right now I downloading ubuntu studio 10.something

  • @PhysiPhile I would very much like to see you using your software in action. I am not "calling you out". I want to see it.

  • @PhysiPhile I have used Linux for months, completely believing I had found the golden key to computers and making music. I even sacrificed my extreme desire for cutting edge gaming. All fantasy.

  • @PhysiPhile I'm not here to argue with you. I'm here to prove a point. How about this, PLEASE record a video of you making some music with the software you use and show ME what I am missing out on?
