Ruthelle Frank, 84, of Brokaw, Wisc., has been voting since 1948, but she doesn't have a birth certificate, and under Wisconsin's new voter suppression law she's unable to obtain an ID so that she can vote.

How in the hell did this women get through 84 years of life with out an ID card?!?!?! You need an ID card every place you go. Even the doctors require a DMV issued ID card every time you go. This is all bull shit this old women is slinging. If her one horse town does not require ID for anything to bad. The rest of the country does. And if it is true that her mothers and fathers name are misspelled on her birth certificate then it her parents fault for not correcting it. Or she should have.

@PHILLIPS8822 Sorry to tell you this, but as a former resident of Chicago, I know all too well about vote fraud by precinct captains and other low lifes who get people to vote twice using names of deceased voters or voters that don't exist. I am surprised to read two posts here that claim no such thing happens. You need to research voter fraud in NY, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Miami, and other cities.

I dont like tyrannical state laws which further limit and restrict the public, but I do have a pragmatic question on this matter. Given all the voter fraud and fake voter registration in America and other countries, doesn't make sense to demand some document which requires proof that the person voting is actually a living being and not someone who has long passed away?
