I think what the fans would like is ONE last adventure with the original characters. Whether it be in the form of a Nick movie or a mini series,( maybe when Korra's is done?). Anyways, something short where they can have ONE last adventure as Team avatar and tie up any loose ends.

I mean c'mon! They gave 3 mins for the ending, and, frankly, had to rush it. So questions like, "Where's Zuko's mom, and what happened to different character's, weren't answered.

@Zukofan121 it is actually a new avatar and aang and katara's son teaches the new avatar airbending cuz he is now the last one and his name is tenzin (named after tenzin gyatso) and everyone else is dead its like 75 or 77 years after zuko became firelord and stuff. the new avatar is a waterbender as the cycle continued and its apparently about korra's (the new avatar) journey to find tenzin and learn airbending

@cloneadventurer Being an anime does not mean it has to cater to kids. Basides, who said it wouldn't still be funny? The reason I said to loose the kid stuff is because of the ending. They made a big deal about killing the king, but think about all those ang has killed in battle before. If it's made for kids there shouldn't be a hypocritical message. Also the end was wrapped up too nicley. It's a story of a war! Suprizingly, people die.

@cloneadventurer Like I said... Anime= animation made in Japan. Therefore Avatar ISN'T an anime.. it is and American cartoon copying the style of an Anime.

And for the record, Netflix said this "Made in the United States but deeply informed by the graphic style of Asian anime" It didn't say Avatar WAS an anime, it just said it was INFORMED by the Asian animes....

(My bad if I come off as rude, just trying to make a point)

@cloneadventurer Avatar: The Last Airbender is not an asian anime. Animes are made in Japan, while Avatar was made in the U.S. It's an American animation or just a cartoon inspired by anime.

@Zukofan121 Aang's son or daughter (I cannot remember which) is the one training the new avatar. Also, according to the avatar cycle I am pretty sure Aang would be have to be dead like you have already said. I would love some of the loose ends tied up though, i.e. Zuko's mom.
