I enjoy playing Raptor Call of the Shadows. But Tyrian 2000 is my game of choice for Shoot 'Em Up games. Truth is I always held back in Raptor just to make the game more challenging. Tyrian on the other hand I won't even think about it.

Ive tried dual plasma to bust it open and then charging in but i kinda always blow up i think due to the ramming into solid matter thingy that happens when i do that. I *think* it is another secret level, though it speeds past it pretty fast.

You know your guns are suffiently upgraded when they blot out the sun, sounds more then a rock concert and kill bosses in 1s flat. X) I still go back to Tyrian 2000 when i wanna see how a shooter should be in its most perfect form. (Btw has anyone ever figured out the riddle to the *?* block on one of the first bonus levels, the one called windy i think. With indestructuble blocks. and at one section it speeds past a *?* block wedged between 4 other indestructible blocks?)

how did you get the sound to work on dosbox for this game? i know that its some sort of soundblaster setting, but i cant get further than that as far as sound settings are concerned. can you help me?
