【WARNING: ENDING SPOILERS】

The final battle with Demise along with the ending scenes and credits all-in-one. Demise is a bit tricky, but once you get used to blocking the battle is pretty easy. It kinda reminds me of Ganondorf's battle in Twilight Princess but I found the battle scenary to be epic compared
to Twilight's.

Overall Review:

Pros: What really hit me about this game was it hit me as soon as you finished all the dungeons, you started understand each and every one of the key characters: Zelda, Impa, Groose. Groose, once a childhood bully, now a great companion and the guy has developed thanks to Impa. Leading me into Impa. She's watches over all the characters and unites them. I just love the fact she held a promise to Zelda "You and I Will surely meet again one day" only for Zelda to realize she was the old woman at the Sealed Grounds the entire time. Zelda...most importantly had a bigger role to play in this game and I just like the companionship she has with Link. I particularly liked just about every music that play during emotional scenes; it's so touching. For its 25th anniversary title, Nintendo did their job in making this Zelda game a beautiful one.

Cons: I found the dungeons a little short with the exception of Sky Keep and the Lanaryu Mining Facility. The "mini-dungeons" before, I guess make up for that. I was hoping the game be a little longer just a little. I was hoping for more than just one or two scenes to show character development, but the game delivered enough to satisfy me. Strumming the Harp wasn't my idea of playing music...it was just sorta random. Leading me to say: the wii motion plus didn't have to influence everything about Skyward Sword. I preferred the Ocarina/Baton. Side quests felt a little short lived and aren't very rewarding. I felt there wasn't much incentive to do them unless it were for a heart piece.

Approximately 45 hours put into this game and With that, I'm making Skyward Sword my all time favorite Zelda game by far. An excellent game to end the Wii's lifeline of great games.

  • Wait, if you killed him in the "past" doesn't that mean there is absolutely no point into fighting "The Imprisoned"?

  • Gaah, after re-reading through your question. I think I understood your question now.

I agree, if you killed Demise in the past then the battles with the imprisoned wouldn't have occurred. However, that wasn't the case and the events still occurred. This can be implied through the Triforce still being there (its purpose was to destroy the Imprisoned, afterall).

However, there was a point because you would need to go through the Time gate with ease.

    Time Paradox for the win.

  • I would of father seen ganondorf because the bad guys in this game where kinda hidden

  • your right when that happend to impa i did cry (a little)

  • you could start moving at 2:36,and you ended at 5:09, that's 2 minutes and 33 seconds. I am a pokemon fan, and extremely offended by the fact that he usurped the powers of Pikachu.

Thank you Nii-san! I really appreciate all the comments you've made on my Skyward Sword videos. Keeps my videos alive. :>

Agree with that comment. Skyward seemed to go into character development and you see them grow as characters, you may even feel as if you're close to them. Emotional themed songs from the game doesn't help and they're my favorite tracks from the game. The game seemed to reach out to me...and it's easily become my favorite Zelda game.

  • SS was definitely a good buy, and a great addition to the series. Congrats on another Zelda game down, Nii-sama! :3

  • I must say, Nintendo sure did pull out all the stops on this one. Skyward Sword is definitely one of my favorites. And that really does mean something, since they're aren't that many quality video games being made nowadays.

I love everything; the music, the character development, the foreshadowing, and the game play itself... The characters give you a strong impression on how an actual person would feel. And you see that as the game progresses. I like that in a video game, as in any story.
