  • ABUSE WTF!

  • We have had both Bettas and Goldfish for years. They can live together as long as the tank is well maintained. The main problem isn't temperature, it's how clean the tank is. Goldfish are very tolerant of different temperatures. Goldfish are much dirtier than Bettas so the difficulty is maintaining a proper PH level for the Betta. In a well maintained tank, Bettas can be perfectly healthy alongside the goldfish.

  • What a beautiful tank...... I want to know what kind of fish goes to eat at 00:12..

I also want to know if your Betta attacks your goldfish????? I want to know because I want to buy one like yours.... Thanks!!!!!

  • The fish that goes up to eat at 0:12 is a Corydora. There are a cool little bottom feeder !

The Betta is pretty cool with the goldfish and seems curious about them like to watch what they do.

  • I have a 55gal tank and three goldfish (about 3-4in). Could I add a beta? I'm new to having an aquarium but we needed it for the fish to come inside from a pond. They are very inactive though....the pond which was a fountain was small and they are not used to the room.

  • nice goldfish :D

  • Ain't that an albeno cory cat fish? Ain't they tropical?

  • your betta is cool and clever to hide from your gldfsh !!! :D because they are like giants to im awwwwww so cute. mine doesn't live with goldfish though

  • @yuriwolf47 okay, sorry for flooding the comments here, but I just looked up a bunch of stuff...in my situation it looks like a REALLY bad idea and could endanger the lives of both my betta and the goldfish and could even hurt my catfish too since it would change the water so much so yeah...it'lll be a bad idea. I'll just change my tank water out...again....and try to figure out the reason for the cloudyness another way.-whew....

  • @yuriwolf47 Let me add to this, I don't think experimenting with ANY animal for ANY reason in ANY environment is a good idea. But I mean for the sake of the betta, if I let my bf have his goldfish-and i dont mean the pretty ones, I mean the 88 cent walmart goldfish, will they hurt my betta? Would the tank be too crowded? <.< I don't like the idea of getting goldfish in my current tank environment...but I want another opinion...time to do some googling i guess...

  • We have a new filter, and large airrator, a 10 gal tank, 1 betta, 2 catfish, 1 picostomus, everyone gets along well. But the tank is always cloudy! We're gonna get a heater, since te tank is always in the low seventies, but my bf wants me to get goldfish to see if the tank cloudyness is a water problem or a fish problem..i dont want goldfish though, my betta is my baby. I dont want him to get sick or hurt. Is getting goldfish for that experiment a bad idea? Someone help!

  • they don't even compliment each other

  • wow my moom said that batta cant live with gold fish. but its so cute.( ; by the way did that fish realy have big eyes?
