Today if the guy wanted to borrow it, the owner of the album (which would be a CD) would just copy for him onto a CD or break it up into MP3 form and send it off to him via a file sharing site lol

That is John Canada Terrell that delivers that famous line. He starred in Spike Lee's first joint and also was Flash in "The Five Heartbeats". He's been in a bunch of stuff through the years but this is probably one of his best known lines. Classic commercial.
