Lights and Siren Parade-Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show 2009

The Lights and Siren parade that kicked off the North Aurora Days Festival, and the Emergency Vehicle Show. This is my kinda parade! Heard my first powercall, and it sounded awesome! Alot of classic classicness.

@CSILCPD Many emergency vehicles awhile back used lightbars similar to that. Two beacons on either side, flashers, and a siren speaker or mechanical siren in the middle.

i have a question for any police car collector i want a black crown vic and if i put lights in it to look like an unmarked car just for parade use and car shows is that legal

This was a Great Video but somewhat '' jerky '' . Camera operator should've had the Camera mounted on a tripod w/swivel mount, panaramic sweeps would've been alot less jerky. Really liked seeing older classic rigs with Mars lights bars & Dietz Beacons. They were the Best Emergency Lights made. I know this for a fact because I had a pair of Dietz beacons mounted on a Mars light bar with a pair of Pancake alternate wig-wag Flashers with halogen quartz lamps. Very Bright!

@nosferatu135 Interestingly enough, back in the 1970's and before, before EMTs and Paramedics, most ambulance companies were run by funeral homes. Hearses would be emptied, and gurneys used to be designed so that it could eather have a matress to hold a patient or running board to hold a coffin.
